Mrs. Anne Arias
Third grade is a year of great growth as students advance in self-control, independence, accountability, respect, and love of God and our neighbors. Students develop a deeper understanding of our faith and of God’s plan for our lives. We focus on speaking effectively, improving fluency, comprehension skills, grammar, writing, word study, and much more! In math, we focus on many skills such as adding and subtracting larger numbers, geometry, measurement, fractions, money, time, multiplication, division, problem solving, and computation. We also work on projects that foster research skills, public speaking, and creativity such as the Famous Americans Tea Party, the Parade of States, and Ecosystem Dioramas.
