Buongiorno!
Hello my name is Annalisa Casazza. I am originally from Italy, specifically from Milan — a big city in the North. I moved to the US in the mid 80’s, met my husband and eventually became a naturalized American.
We have lived in both the US and Italy, and from 2004, we have happily made Northern Virginia our home. My husband is an Engineer and works for a large company in the area. I have a son, who is soon to graduate from VCU in Richmond with a degree in Graphic Design. We have a dog and two cats who also fill our lives!
My passion has always been in art and particularly in painting. I attended the Brera Academy in my hometown and earned a Fine Arts degree with a major in Art History and minor in painting. I come from a family of teachers: both my mom and sister are teachers. So it seemed natural for me to get into teaching as well. I have more than ten years of experience, however – like in any profession – I am looking to improve my skills all the time and be more effective.
I am honored and excited to be part of the Queen of Apostles team! What an incredible opportunity for me to be of service to this wonderful community of faith and values. I am looking forward to know everyone, but in particular all my students!
